So... Now you know what Michelle has been up to!
She certainly put us through our paces! That was a mega-load of dirt we had to shift!
And, I will never, in my life, go back to feeling the way I felt on the day of the 'Dirt Challenge'.
I never want to be that overweight, or struggle that much, to shovel and carry dirt again!
I can't imagine what others who were worse off, or bigger than me, were feeling.
We needed to shift, lift and carry 26,000kg of dirt! The same amount of weight that the town had to lose, to rid us of our 'fat tag'.
With Michelle cheering us on and helping motivate us, how can we lose? It's just a matter of time.
I, along with my mum and my friends, were in the Black Team for this challenge.
We had a "friendly rivalry" happening with a few of the challengers that chose the Blue Team, so we decided on Black.
It was a hard slog! I lost count of how many buckets I personally carried. So. Many. Buckets! All weighing about 15kg each! All I remember is Mum running beside me saying "Don't fill your buckets too much, your going to hurt your back!" I just wanted to fill that backhoe up as quickly as possible!
I wanted to beat the other team!
I wanted our team to win!
I wanted to push myself!
I wanted to lose the fat on me personally, not just the fat tag of the town!
And we did it!
When we tore off that 26,000kg ticket first, we were ecstatic to say the least! It was a hard fought challenge, but with most of the big blokes and heavy shovelers on our team, we were almost set up from the start for a win.
We worked bloody hard though and pushed with everything we had to finish first.
Well done to the Blue Team though. Gary, "Spanner", is a fantastic leader and they fought HARD! They were never far behind us, he was working to win for his wife, Katrina, in the house. An amazing and very lucky lady, to have a fella like Spanner working his guts out, outside of the house to help her stay there.
I'm so proud of every one of our town champions in the Biggest Loser House, I can't wait to see what numbers they will pull next week on the scales and who might be leaving the house forever!

How about those predicted ages of death though?
How scary were some of those numbers?
If they don't commit to making a change, those numbers could become a reality for some of them!
That really hit home for me. I was stunned and shocked!
The waist measurements were really overwhelming though. For Craig to have a waist measurement the same as Katrina height, wow... just wow.
On a personal note, my ultimate goal on my way to getting fit and healthy is to bring my waist measurement down to the recommended 80cm for ladies.
After having two caesareans when my kids were born, I have a baby belly that needs to pack up and move out!
In all honesty, I have about 30cm right now, give or take, that I need to evict, so I am working hard to bring that number down. I don't care so much what the number on the scale says anymore, although, I do have an 'ideal' number in mind, but I need to get that dangerous, unhealthy visceral fat off my abdomen.
Over the coming weeks, I'm going to share with you how I'm going to make that happen.
It's going to be slow. It's going to be gradual. But, it's going to be lasting, because once it's gone, it's NEVER COMING BACK!
I am so determined this time around to change my body, once and for all.
Why don't you join me? Make a commitment with me, to yourself, to change and lets do it! It doesn't matter who you are, where you are, or how much you weigh, honestly, the only thing you really have to lose is your quality of life, by not making a change!
Get out there, get moving, drink more water, it's not rocket science!
Let's do this together Steppers! Let's make a change for the better!
